ENGAGEMENT

The first time Brent proposed March 25, 2007 I said I needed a little more time to seek the Lord, pray, and decide.

Popping the question (5)

April 01, 2007 was the second time he asked me I said, "I am walking forward in faith!" You see it is not that I didn't want to marry Brent; it is that the Lord had not given me conformation by the time he first asked me. None of us want to go into something that we do not know for sure if it is the Lord's will for our life, right? I wanted to make sure marrying Brent was the Lord's will. The Lord confirmed it in a different way than I was expecting.
After seeking the Lord, praying, looking at my old journals, reading over some marriage material, and getting counsel from close friends and family I decided there was no reason to not move forward with Brent. It is true that the Lord did not confirm a "yes" but on the flip side he did not over the whole 1.5 years that I have been praying say that I should not marry Brent. The Lord is giving me an opportunity to walk in faith with Him and with Brent. Yes, I am engaged to Brent and we will be getting married this summer. YEA!!!!!!! I am excided about the journey that is before Brent and I plus I’m thankful that the Lord has led us to each other! We serve an amazing God!

TAG GAME

THE RULES: Each player of this game starts with the 6 weird things about you. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says you are tagged in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

1.  I used to wear size 8 1/2 shoe but within the last year it changed.  I now wear a size 9.

2.  I smell like a used coffee filter most days.

3.  I have a purple big toenail currently because of an accident involving a basketball goal over Christmas.

4.  Even better I have three small holes in the big purple toe nail because I screwed a hole into the nail to relieve the pressure and the blood.

5.  I get a natural high off of finding bargains.

6.  I went into a Doggie Bakery this week, in SF of course.  Yes, a real bakery where they just make special treats for DOGS...with icing and sprinkles.

I tag Cayton, Brent, Jeani (no response girl), Grace, Kristen, and Nancy, mark out Jeani and add Brian.

tech help

Does anyone know where I can buy a charger for my Palm (Tungsten E)?  The Palm store does not seem to sell them anymore.  Know of any good on-line sights that might have one?  Also, there might be something else wrong with it...any ideas on where to get it fixed?

Denver snow storm

Brent and I are going to Tennessee for Christmas and then will be in Oklahoma for a few days before we fly back to California.

Brent and I left before daylight yesterday to fly from San Fran to Denver and then to Tennessee.  We arrived at the airport one hour early but soon found out there was a 45 min. cut off on getting your bags checked.  The problem was that the United Airlines line was about two miles long full of people trying to check in.  We tried to go sky cap but nothing was working.  Our only option was to wait in the two mile long line only to get our flight re-booked for later that day and to have to pay a fee for that to happen.  As we were waiting in line we noticed people running passed us and soon found out that a new line was being formed.  Our 6 a.m. flight to Denver was canceled because of weather so we had to get in the new line and re-book our flight.  They put us on a flight from SFO to Dulles and then into Nashville.  We arrived here in TN last night.  Praise the Lord for getting us to TN but of course not without some adventure.  We could have been sleeping on a cot in the Denver airport last night!  p.s. it was all re-booked for free :)
